At Picnic Heist, we want to make it simple, affordable, and reliable for you to receive our books. Below you’ll find how shipping works for orders within the United States, Canada, and the rest of the world.
United States
- Media Mail: We ship all U.S. orders by USPS Media Mail.
- Cost: $5 for the first pound, plus $2 for each additional pound.
- Example: Most picture books weigh about 2 lbs, with packaging, so shipping for one book is $7
- Free Shipping: All U.S. orders over $50 ship free!
- Timing: Media Mail usually takes 2-8 business days.
Canada
- Cost (small orders, up to 4 lbs / 2 books): $12 for the first pound, plus $3 for each additional pound.
- Example: One book packaged (2 lbs) ships for about $15; two books packaged (4 lbs) ship for about $21.
- Larger orders (4-10 lbs / up to 5 books): Flat $40
- Bulk orders (10-20 lbs / up to 10 books): Flat $60
- Timing: About 1 – 3 weeks, with tracking included.
Rest of the World
We are thrilled to ship internationally so children everywhere can enjoy our books.
- Cost (small orders, up to 4 lbs / 2 books): $20 for the first pound, plus $6 for each additional pound.
- Example: One book (2 lbs) ships for about $26; two books (4 lbs) ship for about $32.
- Larger orders (4–10 lbs / up to 5 books): Flat $45.
- Bulk orders (10–20 lbs / up to 10 books): Flat $70.
- Timing: Typically 2–4 weeks, depending on the destination and local customs.
Important Notes
- Duties & Taxes: International customers are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import fees charged by their country.
- Packaging: We ship books carefully packed to ensure they arrive in excellent condition.
- Tracking: All shipments include tracking. Please note that international tracking updates may be less frequent once the package leaves the U.S.
- Delivery times are estimates and may be longer during busy holiday seasons or due to customs delays.
